Based on McNemar analysis, the citizen’s behavior that is change are dispose garbage to the proper place, shifting house garbage, provide special rubbish bin at house. 69 respondents also experience the better change of garbage sevices system at their community. Based on respondent perception, social benefits of Bank Sampah Gemah Ripah among others are education or information about the importance of garbage management and it is experienced by 71 respondents. After analyzing data using Logistic regression, Statistically, factors that significantly detemine citizen choice to keep their garbage in saving bank are age factor that is 26-40 years old, family member, distance, kind of job, being a housewife, how active responden in a organization and also promotion. Individual consumer either or communal can take the withdrawal once every three month. Communal consumers (every RT) will receive 30% of the garbage that their saving and the rest also for the cash. Individual customer will receive 85% from their saving while the rest for cash. Garbage bank has two saving systems, individual and communal garbage system for anorganic garbage like paper, plastic and can. ![]() It is formed based on the citizen’s aspiration and without any help from government institution. Mechanism pattern that is used by Bank Sampah Gemah Ripah is still very simple. Secondary data is collected by interviewing relevant informant. Primary data are collected by using questionnaire to 86 patriarch at Dusun badegan citizen using purposive sampling. This research uses primary and secondary data. This research was carried in from March until May 2009. This research aims to identify the mechanism pattern of garbage bank, analyze factors that determine citizen’s choice to saving garbage and analyze the impact of garbage bank existence. ![]() Therefore, new garbage management is needed to change the old paradigm such as what the Dusun Bagedan citizens do, using Bank Sampah Gemah Ripah. Waste management which consists of collecting, mobiling and throwing cause the disposal unit to be overwhelmed. This situation will cause the volume of garbage produced by population will as well. Indonesia is one of the most populated countries and it’s population has tendency to increase from time to time. ![]()
